I’m Joanne Lazarus, a celebrant with a passion for spreading joy, and assisting you every step of the way. My focus is on infusing fun into your special moments and crafting unforgettable memories that will stand the test of time. I specialise in curating laid-back, one-of-a-kind, and tailor-made wedding ceremonies. Allow me to guide you in manifesting the wedding day you’ve always dreamed of. I am in the Manchester area, a fabulous vibrant city fused with many cultures, diversity, and a mix of hustle bustle, and calming influences. We have so many amazing venues and outdoor spaces in Manchester, and surrounding areas.
How many times have you been to a wedding, and you know exactly what is coming next? A Registrar will have the same wording at every ceremony and be governed by license laws and time restrictions. A ceremony led by a registrar can only be officiated at certain venues.
A wedding led by a celebrant offers you the chance to have your ceremony YOUR way. A wedding script would be written just for YOU. Each love story is different, so I can tailor your wedding service and vows to suit the two of you, as you head into the next chapter of your lives together.

What Happens Next?
You’ve booked your wedding venue, so your celebrant is the next thing to set into place.
After you’ve submitted an enquiry, we’ll arrange to have a relaxed phone conversation and get to know each other a little more.
If all goes well, we can then arrange to meet up for a coffee, so we can get to know each other in a relaxed environment. After the meeting, you can then decide if you wish to take my services further.
My cost for “Getting to Know You” (we call it a discovery meeting in the business) is free!
This is the time to decide if you want your ceremony to be led by me, as your celebrant.
When you book me, we’ll arrange to meet again to discuss your specific requirements and begin to learn about your personal story.
We’ll keep in touch via WhatsApp or e-mail (whichever suits you) until approximately three months before the wedding. I’ve found this is the best time to have that meet-up, where I get to ask you loads of questions and get to know you even more. We will discuss in great detail the order of your wedding day, and if you would like to include any wedding rituals, or cultural influence into your ceremony. I will explain all of this when we get together.
You may wish to include family members. This can be discussed together when we have our meetings.
My services include wedding ceremonies within the Manchester, Lancashire, and North West area of the UK at a fee of £695.00. An initial confirmation of a date booking requires a £195.00 deposit, then the balance of £500.00 four weeks before your big day.
*Any further afield, will involve travel and time expenses.
